Module 1: Stress and the causes

Module 2: Five Ways to Wellness  as a model to giving non-medical advice

2.1 Connect –  Why connecting with people around you enhances your well-being.

2.2 Be active – Let’s get physical!  Exercising makes you feel good, exploring the proven benefits to support and enhance personal well-being.

2.3 Take notice – why noticing; being aware or mindful increases our sense of well-being.

ASSESSMENT

There are 60 hours of learning for the Diploma plus 22.5 hours of supervised skills development.

Assessment for the Diploma in Well-being Life Coaching at work occurs through:

  • Supervised skills development practice
  • 1 Training Session Plan (to be submitted within 2 weeks of training)
  • 1 Manual review – 2 pages A4
  • Delivery of ‘snapshot’ well-being session

COURSE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants need to:  Have acceptable qualifications, in related areas e.g. health professionals, HR professionals and those working in the field of physical, mental or emotional well-being.  Or be able to demonstrate that their accumulated knowledge and skills is equal to the requirements of the above.

Approved Level Three Core Therapy Status

Benefits – 15 CPD points

All students that obtain a Think Tree International Complimentary Therapies Association Approved Core Therapy qualification will automatically be accepted as members.

All Approved Core Therapy or Advanced Training therapies are automatically accepted for addition to the professional’s register of treatments and will be covered by their insurance provider.
